2012
The purchase and sale of the building was formalised in December 2012.
2013
The refurbishment work began in 2013. The scale of the project was gigantic with engineering and architectural challenges of equal importance. It required more than seven years of work before first opening.
2020
In 2020, the residential areas, the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid and the first boutique in Galería Canalejas were inaugurated.
2021
The following year saw the opening of the Food Hall.
2022
The ground floor of Galería Canalejas opened in 2022.
The company that owns the property is 50% owned by OHLA and Mohari Hospitality.
